Matching Musicians
The idea: Matching musicians. You should find a photo somewhere on the web, cd booklets, posters, etc. which you will then use as a guide to make your costumes on your dolls. Use the example above. We used bases by bondchick to reproduce the costumes Destiny's Child is wearing in the photo. Be creative. Try to use bands people may not even think of using. eg. something like HR Puffenstuff, Kiss, Soundgarden, The Roches, etc.
We are only accepting 1 band/group entry in this contest. This means if two groups want to doll N*sync, only the 1st N*sync entry will be accepted. CHECK the entries page to make sure your doll has not already been dolled!!! We update daily. We do allow room for error, or what-have-you. But we retain the right to reject
rule breakers. Please do not doll any groups that may have a hate, naughty or violent costumes--eg. we do not want to see gwar costumes (sorry gwar). Bands can be from any era, as long as you can find a picture of them. For any more info, please email a staff member.

You may use any base by any site. Alteration is accepted--depending on base artist's terms of use.
ONE entry per person
AT LEAST two dolls per entry
ONE prop per doll (props are optional)
ONE band per contest.

Absolutely no frankendolling.

Animation is mandatory!

ONLY gifs. We will NOT accept dolls files over 150k. Use theGif Cruncher from Lissa Explains if you need help shrinking the size of your image.

If you cannot get your doll onto a
transparent background try gifworks.com.

You must base the costumes on a picture of the group/band in matching or stage outfits.(*note stage outfits do not have to match as long as the entire group is pictured together in the photo. Matching outfits however will score better in the final stage of judging). Try www.google.com to search for pictures. You must include the photo in your email--resized to match the height of your dolls.

Mass voting is not allowed--you cannot recruit friends to vote.

You must include your name into the
dolls' filename.[eg."PSmm_bandname_yourname.gif"]
- Include your name, website name & address, email, doll's name, base credit info/link, & original example photo, and any other questions in the email.
The top 3 in each category will be selected around August 10th. PS staff will vote on similarity to example pic, creativy in animation, etc., and select the top winner in each category. Top 3 in each category will recieve a "favorites" award, top entrant in each category will recieve a "trophy" & fav's. Every entrant will recieve a participation award. There are 3 categories in which top winners will be named. These will be announced when voting begins, so just try to be creative.
Entries are accepted until 20 entriesare recieved..
